Race Day Festival

Come enjoy the fabulous family festival in Columbus Park, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. There’s something for everyone, whether you are an athlete, spectator, or sponsor! In addition to great food and massages for athletes after the race, the finish line area at Columbus Park will have many fun things to do for children of all ages, including:

  • Live music by Superband, who will be playing on the big stage
  • A mini go-kart race track provided by Grand Prix New York
  • Clowns and more from The Big Apple Circus
  • Huge obstacle bouncy funhouse
  • Arts and crafts
  • Caricatures
  • Henna Tattoos

Bobby Valentine’s Sports Gallery Café, located conveniently near the finish line, will be the official host of the Stamford KIC IT Triathlon After-Party. The restaurant will open at 9 a.m. and will serve a special brunch menu along with special freebies for all athletes.

Stay tuned for more to come!

Last year, Kids in Crisis helped more than 7,300 children and families in Connecticut. Participating in the Stamford KIC IT Triathlon means we can continue to provide comprehensive care that makes a difference in the lives of infants, children and teens.
